About us

ascii 2026 provides PhD students from the Chair of Information Infrastructures the unique opportunity to work on a topic of their choice. The conference includes a pre-conference workshop on PhD soft skills and focuses on developing research project abstracts and extended abstracts in groups.

Participants are asked to develop and submit a research project abstract (max 300 words) of a new research idea that has not passed the conceptualization stage, alongside 2-3 recommended readings. Following group formation, participants are required to submit a 2-page extended abstract detailing their practice problem, research problem, research question(s), objectives, and anticipated contributions.
