By accessing or using ScholarMeet ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. ScholarMeet reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Use of the Platform

ScholarMeet provides an online platform for discovering, creating, and managing academic and professional conferences. You may use the Platform to:

• Browse and search for conferences by category, location, or keyword
• Create and publish conference listings with details, schedules, and registration links
• Register interest in conferences and manage paper submissions
• Manage organizations and teams associated with your conferences

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as necessary. ScholarMeet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Conference Listings

Conference organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information they publish on ScholarMeet, including but not limited to:

• Conference titles, descriptions, dates, and locations
• Registration fees, payment terms, and refund policies
• Speaker information and schedule details
• Flyer content and uploaded media

ScholarMeet does not verify the accuracy of conference listings and is not responsible for any disputes between organizers and attendees.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on ScholarMeet, including logos, design, text, graphics, and software, is the property of ScholarMeet or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without prior written consent. Content you upload (flyers, descriptions, images) remains your intellectual property, but you grant ScholarMeet a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it on the Platform.

6. Payment Terms

Conference registration fees are set by individual organizers. ScholarMeet may display prices in multiple currencies (INR, USD, EUR) for convenience, but actual payment terms are determined by the organizer. ScholarMeet is not a payment processor and does not handle financial transactions between organizers and attendees unless explicitly stated. Any payment disputes should be directed to the conference organizer.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent conference listings
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
• Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Platform without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScholarMeet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse or verify any conference listed on the Platform. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScholarMeet and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
