About us

The Heartland AI Symposium (formerly the K-State AI Symposium), now in its fourth year, is a multidisciplinary event bringing together voices from all sectors and areas of the community to discuss AI in the Heartland. The 2026 theme is 'Our Society in the Age of AI'. It includes panels, roundtables, lightning talks, discussions, presentations, theory-to-practice sessions, and hands-on workshops.

We invite proposals for panels, roundtables/lightning talks, discussions, presentations, theory to practice sessions, and hands-on workshops. Proposals should address the theme 'Our Society in the Age of AI' and must be prepared for a general, non-expert audience.
