About us

The 2nd Philawson Workshop aims to advance research at the intersection of social ontology and the philosophy of law, exploring philosophical foundations, thematic overlaps, and methodological affinities. This edition focuses on vulnerability and non-ideal social ontology, addressing issues like collective agency, institutional responsibility, and normative responses in contexts of social and ecological precarity.

The workshop invites contributions on 'Social Ontology and Philosophy of Law: Foundations, Concepts, and Methods' and 'Vulnerability, Non-ideal Social Ontology, and Law'. Submissions must be prepared for double-blind review, written in English, in .doc format, not exceeding 1,000 words, and include keywords.
