About us
A One-Day Multidisciplinary National Seminar on Emerging Innovations and Contemporary Advances in Higher Education aims to create a platform to know the recent innovations in the field of Social Sciences, Commerce and Science among the Faculty, Research Scholars and Students. In this seminar there is a lot of scope to interact with Senior Professors to clarify the doubts. The seminar is aimed to fill the gap between academic and research activities undertaken by the faculty and students. The seminar is specially designed to explore and enhance the research activities by acquiring the knowledge of recent advances by the keynote speeches.
The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for Academicians, Experts and Researchers in various disciplines and its allied areas. This will lead to provide opportunity to interact with eminent personnel in turn they suggest various corrective measures for advancement of the subject and its applications in Industry, Science, Technology, Research and Development etc.
Objectives of the Seminar include:
i. The main objective is to enhance awareness among researchers, students and inventors about recent advances in Social Science, Commerce and Science.
ii. To explore the new innovations in Social Science, Commerce and Science.
iii. To get the opportunity to interact with Senior Professors.
iv. To inspire the young minds towards the research.
About the college
Government Degree College, Ramannapet is located in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District of Telangana. The college is situated in a peaceful natural environment and is spread over 4 acres of land. It was established on 24-08-1994 with the aim of providing higher education to students from poor and rural backgrounds and helping them build a better future through quality education.
The college started in a small private building with B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc. (MPC & BZC) courses. In 1999, it was shifted to the present campus. The college is located about 2 km from Ramannapet town, in a calm area surrounded by agricultural fields. It attracts students from villages within a radius of 30 km and provides a pollution-free and friendly atmosphere for learning. Since 2014, the institution has been under the jurisdiction of Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda
The college works to reduce the gap between rural and urban students and to prepare them for the modern competitive world. It has qualified and dedicated lecturers who guide and support students in their academic and personal growth.
The campus has good infrastructure, including spacious classrooms, science and computer laboratories, a virtual classroom, a large playground, drinking water facilities, toilet blocks, and a well-equipped library. The college also provides Wi-Fi, MANA TV, and an English Language Lab (ELL) to help students improve their knowledge and skills.Government Degree College, Ramannapet is a great opportunity for rural students who wish to complete their graduation and face new challenges with confidence.
About Ramannapet :
Ramannapet is a mandal headquarters located in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District of Telangana. It lies on the Deccan Plateau at an average elevation of 300–320 metres above mean sea level, with gently undulating terrain.
The region experiences a semi-arid tropical climate, characterized by hot summers, moderate monsoon rainfall,and mild winters. The soils are predominantly red sandy and black cotton soils, supporting agriculture as the main livelihood.
Historically, the area forms part of a region with evidence of prehistoric human habitation and later came under the influence of the Chalukya and Kakatiya dynasties, followed by the Qutb Shahi and Asaf Jahi (Nizam)rule, which shaped its socio-cultural and agrarian traditions.
Ramannapet enjoys good road connectivity and is located near National Highway-65 (Hyderabad–Vijayawada). Regular TSRTC bus services connect it with
Hyderabad, Bhongir, Choutuppal, Suryapet, and Nalgonda. The nearest railway stations are Ramannapet and Chityal, providing access to major cities.
Major religious and heritage sites include Sri Rama Temple and Sri Hanuman Temple at Ramannapet, the renowned Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Yadadri (Yadagirigutta), and famous Matsyagiri Temple at Vemulakonda, Thrishakthi Peetam at Valigonda, Parwathi Jadala Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple at Cheruvugattu, Venugopala Swamy Temple at Gopalai pally and the historic Bhuvanagiri (Bhongir) Fort. The town reflects the rich cultural ethos of Telangana, marked by festivals, folk traditions, and temple-centred community life.

Participants are invited to submit their abstracts and full-length research papers related to the themes and sub-themes of the Seminar. The abstract should not exceed 300 words and must be prepared in MS Word, using Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment. The abstract must include the author's name, affiliation, and e-mail ID. Selected research papers will be published in the form of Seminar Proceedings in an ISSN peer-reviewed journal with minimum Article Processing Charges (APC).
