About us

The International Conference on Geoinformatics is an official conference of the International Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Sciences (CPGIS) and has been held annually since 1992. The main theme of the 2026 conference is Geo-innovations for a sustainable and resilient society, aiming to engage dialogues between researchers and practitioners to advance theoretical, methodological, and applied aspects of geographic information science and systems.

Call for Papers Description

Geoinformatics 2026 accepts submissions in either an abstract or a full paper. Abstract is a short documentation up to 300 words. Full paper is 6-8 pages containing original research.
