About us

The International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society (IFESS) is a member-based, not-for-profit community and association dedicated to creating a future in which electrical stimulation technologies enhance the quality of life. The 2026 conference promotes the awareness, knowledge, and understanding of electrical stimulation technologies and their application.

We're opening a final call for abstract submissions! Contributions for consideration will be in the form of 1 page conference abstract using the provided template. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in both PDF and Word format. If accepted, your work will be featured as a poster presentation.
