About us

KIBIS2026 examines the topic of AI in education from the perspective of research and practice. The conference brings together researchers in the field of AI and computer science education, as well as teachers who are already implementing AI topics at their schools or are interested in doing so. The scientific part of the conference takes place in cooperation with the working group 'AI in Schools' of the German Informatics Society (Gesellschaft für Informatik). The practical part of the conference takes place in cooperation with the school pilot project 'KI@School'.

Ai education
Computer science education

Contributions on research results in the areas of teaching AI competencies and AI tools for education can be submitted. These can be new concepts, empirical results, or concrete implementations. Contributions from the areas of AI, computer science education, pedagogy, and educational research are welcome. Abstracts should have a maximum of 700 words (up to five references can be added, APA7 citation style). Authors should indicate if they prefer a lecture (15 minutes), poster presentation, or demo.
