Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT)

Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT) is a key public research university in Shanxi Province, China, located in Taiyuan city. It is directly under the Shanxi Provincial Government and is part of China’s “Project 211” and Double First-Class universities. Founded in 1902, TYUT is one of the oldest engineering-focused universities in China. It is especially strong in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, mining engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, and applied sciences. The university has a strong research base and contributes significantly to China’s industrial, energy, and engineering sectors.
