University of South Dakot

The University of South Dakota (USD) is a public research university located in Vermillion, South Dakota, United States. Founded in 1862, it is the oldest public university in the state of South Dakota and serves as the flagship institution of the South Dakota Board of Regents system. USD offers more than 200 undergraduate programs and over 80 graduate programs across fields such as business, education, health sciences, law, medicine, and liberal arts. The university is especially known for housing South Dakota’s only law school and medical school and is classified as an R2 research university (high research activity).
