Xinjiang University

Xinjiang University is a public comprehensive university located in Ürümqi, Xinjiang, China. It is one of the key universities in western China and is directly supported by both the Ministry of Education of China and the Xinjiang regional government. It is part of China’s “Project 211” and Double First-Class initiative. Founded in 1924, Xinjiang University is the largest and highest-level university in Xinjiang, offering programs in engineering, computer science, economics, law, literature, ethnic studies, mathematics, and environmental science. It is also known for its multicultural environment and research on Central Asian and arid-region studies.
