About us
The Principles of Database Systems (PODS) symposium series, held in conjunction with the SIGMOD conference series, provides a premier annual forum for the communication of new advances in the theoretical foundations of data management, traditional or nontraditional. The symposium aims to provide a solid scientific basis for methods, techniques, and solutions for the data management challenges that continually arise in our data-driven society. It seeks scientific articles that present principled contributions to modeling, application, and system building in the context of data management, establishing theoretical results, developing new concepts, providing experimental work, or analyzing important industry artifacts.

Call For Paper
PODS seeks scientific articles presenting principled contributions to data management. Topics include but are not limited to query processing, database design, data quality, data analysis, uncertainty, interoperability, and responsible data management. Submissions must use the ACM 'acmsmall' stylesheet and be limited to 15 pages (excluding references). The symposium uses a lightweight double-anonymous reviewing process. Accepted papers will be published in PACMMOD and presented at the SIGMOD/PODS conference.
